I know what you might be thinking. Do I really need serum for my hair too? Is it not enough with a serum for my face? Well, that depends. Hair serums are the shit if you , like me have frizzy hair and blow-dries it often.
Nobody needs a hair serum. Lets just get that out in the open. It all boils down to what type of hair you have, what type of hair you would like to have once styled and finally in which condition your hair is in. I have a lot of hair, but fine strands that easily break once they have reached a certain length.
I wash my hair 2-3 times a week, lately I have tried to keep it at 2 times as I would like my hair to not get greasy as fast = save time in the long run. Therefore I have to make an effort those times where I do wash it to make sure it is done properly with the purpose of a long-lasting styling. For this to be possible, I need a hair serum for the lengths that I apply before I blow-dry my (what I would like to call) thick and voluminous mane. I want something that does it all, de-frizzes and all other things a serum should do as well as protects my hair from the heat. I want my hair-styling routine to be as minimal as possible, just like most routines in my life, so the more a product can offer me the better.
Similar to my philosophy on men…
I apply the Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser’s invisible oil to towel dried hair prior to blow-drying ( well, my attempt to a blow-dry) along the lengths. The scent is amazing and reminds me about that warm but humid smell you meet when walking past a hairdresser? You get it right? This particular hair serum helps to soften, de-frizz, detangle and protect against breakage but does all of this without removing the volume of the hair.
Might feel slightly pricey at first but guys I’ve had this bottle since 2014 ( now that I think of it, it might be time for me to throw it out and replace it. But why throw out a winning concept, right? ) and there is still a tad of product in it.
All in all, if you want shiny, healthy, amazingly-smelling and non-frizzy hair. This serum is for you.
You are very welcome.
